When you step into MB1S, you are greeted by a Home Day Care Center that has a warm and Spacious atmosphere that fosters creativity, exploration and growth. We provide children with everything necessary for them to discover their own potential while showing them with the love and nurture they need to feel special.

My Beary 1st Steps was founded by Haydee and Kevin Monterroso in 2008 due to the lack of appropriate home daycares in the Reisterstown, Owings Mills and Glyndon areas. After a long research in which they noticed that almost all home daycares are either cluttered, small, dark, with tiny or almost none play areas, no curriculum, or extra activities available almost only in daycare centers, they decided it was time for children to have all in the same place.

    My Beary 1st Steps day care strives to make children feel happy, loved, important and active. Our meals are Highly nutritious and delicious and our curriculum teaches kids love to learn every day. We have several extra curriculum activities such as birthday parties, bringing Petting zoos, The Baltimore Zoo, magicians, Baltimore Police Department, Fire Department, Professional Musicians, My Gym, Santa Claus, etc.

All our toys and books are rotated so our cubs have always something new and exciting. Our rooms are bright and cozy.

Every friday is a true childhood celebration not only because we have a different activity each friday but because it always brings nice surprises to the kids!

We are located in Reisterstown and are very close to Glyndon and Owings Mills, Baltimore, Md.
